Front control panels aren't great for short people

I think most new stoves come with the controls on the front instead of the back, so this complaint probably isn't specific to this stove. I'm 5 feet tall and I can't help but slightly lean or brush against the front of this stove when I cook, which often turns off the burners. There is a lock function for the oven, but I wish there was a lock function for "I have set the burners the way I want them, ignore any input until I unlock again."

I had a highly rated Induction cooktop from IKEA and replaced it with this one. This Frigidaire is much better. It has higher efficiency, doesn™€™t turn off if water spills and can detect which stove has an induction pot on it. The bridge feature is a good idea too. The air fryer works great too. A fun think to have in my kitchen

I've had my new Induction range for about two months. I had an induction countertop burner before that so I was already familiar with the workings of induction cooking. I'm a big fan of this new range. It is super quick to heat up and cool down. And you can join two "burners" to form 1 larger "burner". There is a 3 step process to turn on the stovetop, so it won't happen by accident. If you're in a hurry to boil water, it can do so REALLY fast. And the oven works like your old gas oven. I haven't used the air fryer yet. Overall, I'm very happy with my new range. I'd suggest a "Silplat" cover or similar to help protect the countertop.

We were looking to replace our existing oven and were initially looking to go with a gas unit. Our home is not plumbed for gas so the upfront costs were going to be substantial. I started looking more into induction and found this particular model on sale. 3 weeks in and I am glad we did. Boiling any amount of water is unbelievably fast - the cooktop speed is insanely quick. The oven functions as expected - We have not utilized the air-fry feature as we typically use our smaller countertop airfryer. There is a small learning curve with induction - watch a couple of videos and you will understand it very quickly. Highly recommend.

Relearning how to cook

My first time using an induction cooktop so I will be relearning how to cook! At 67, I guess I'm not too old. I love to cook and everything I've read about induction tells me it's worth the effort. I do wish the controls were on the back because every time I lean against the panel (several times a day!) the thing beeps at me, even when it's locked. The placement of controls was the one thing that made me hesitate about this.

Good range, questionable controls placement

I have been using this range for about two weeks now. I'd say that it's easy to use and the induction works well, boiling water in a just a few minutes. I like the ability to turn off the stovetop burners with a single button push, which is unlike my last range where you had to hold the 'Minus' button until the power went to zero.Two things I am not liking, though - the first is the placement of the controls. Sometimes when I am cooking, my stomach or clothes will touch the controls and usually turn off the burner. You need to be very careful when cooking, especially if you are not tall like me, because you'll quite often turn the burners off or the entire cooktop while bending over to to get a better look at what you are cooking on the rear burners.The second thing is the very slightly depressed cooktop. There is a tiny lip that encircles the entire cooktop that is about 1/8" high. I suppose this lip will help if something boils over while cooking and help prevent the spillage from dripping over the edge of the stove. However, it makes cleaning a bit annoying, as particles can get stuck on the edge of the lip.All in all, I am satisfied with this range so far.

Steping in to future with induction stove

We have had this stove for a little over 3 weeks, and we are amazed at the way this stove works. We did have a bit of stop and go to learn the changes as our old stove was more than 20 years old ( Frigidaire Gallery Series from early 2000's. Today this stove is outstanding! water boils faster and cooking heat is much more consistent! Please take a magnet to your old pots before you purchase an induction stove ... we thought we had but we ended up having to get new pots! Lesson learned! our old pots did not have enough metal to make connection. That said still love this stove! This is our second Frigidaire stove in 20 years and we are still very happy. This stove fit perfectly and venting is nice, the stove looks amazing and the extended family is now wanting one as well! Thank you Frigidaire!

One thing I really like about my new stove is the button that activates the the other controls for the stove burners. On my old stove the burners would turn on if you leaned against them! This new feature could prevent young children from accidentally turning on the stove top! Great! The induction range is quick and very efficient!

I have a Frigidaire stove/range in 2 houses. My first one is gallery and then I decided on this one bc of the smaller oven and larger drawer underneath.This new one has some draw backs: the timer is cumbersome to work and the alarm tone is WAYt too low. Can™€™t gear it unless you stand close. Also turning on a burner- you must first turn on the stove- a bit annoying. The oven doesn™€™t have a speed warm up. My very first Frigidaire stove had a pull out shelf in the oven that came out as you opened the oven door. A nice feature no longer found™€¦.

Thrilled to have made the switch to an induction cooktop. The slide in range has a great sleek look with very clean lines and is a perfect fit for the space. Heat is virtually instantaneous and provides fantastic even cooking. Cleaning the cooktop is a breeze! Baking temps and times have been consistent with recipes thus far. Plan to add a stainless panel as a finishing backsplash to complete the look and make for easy clean up.

It was in stock in their warehouse (according to their CS Rep) but did not ship out until the day after it was supposed to be delivered. I had a gas range, which unfortunately did not have a vented hood. Every time I would cook, we had to open a window because everyone™€™s eyes would be stinging. I want an electric range but the most energy efficient possible. I settled on the Frigidaire induction stove and convection/air fryer oven. The induction stove heats amazingly fast. After removing a pot it also cools down very fast. The oven cooks evenly. I love using it!

Works great but some issues with controls and parts listings

Front controls work very hard unless I lean against the panel when all sorts of beeps go off. Light touch should be all that is needed. Why is there a separate button for the range top in addition to the element button? It is unnecessary.I tried to buy an air fry tray after I bought the oven but had a problem with model #. The manual says a tray can be bought but does not give a part #. Model search on Frigidaire website does not match what my bill of sale says for the oven (FCFI3082BS, website wants FCFI3083ASA or FCFI308CASA). Most searches come up with 24.1" tray when I need a 25". Bought the wrong size and had to return it.Otherwise, it works great so far though I haven't tried everything.

This is my first induction range and so far seems pretty good. The only thing that was an issue was the oven had smelled like plastic when first using it but it™€™s due to the fact that manufacturer recommended to do a clean with soap and burn in for one hour to get the coating off before baking anything. That helped. The stove works great and I like how it doesn™€™t work unless your pot or pan is touching the stove for safety precautions.

Bought the Indiction Range for our special needs son and so far, so good. Had to purchase new pots and pans. The range heats up so fast and cooks so well. The stove top gets hot but not as hot as an older type and hope this will be a safer option for our son. Safety is a big issue here. Our son was always so afraid of the stove. He uses an induction cook plate at his cooking club and is comfortable using it. The Frigidaire Induction Range is a great option for our son.

This range works perfectly for what I need. The only thing I would change is to put the electronic controls in another place. I am short, so my midsection will often brush against the front of the stove when cooking. Unfortunately, I end up turning the stove off when I do. Overall the range works well. The two observations that I have are that the air fryer feature doesn™€™t work well for smaller portions. If the food can fit in a countertop air fryer, it will cook much faster. The second observation is that the controls are very sensitive. It is common that when you are cooking, if you lean too close to the range, to change the temperature setting or other functions. This happens with multiple members of my family.

For the money and size this Frigidaire is perfect™€¦The freezer in bottom is best for organizing and not worried about frozen food falling out on you- I™€™m tall and it™€™s great to look directly into fridge!Lighting is great and not much negative I can say™€¦
