loved it until the fridge quit keeping food in fridge cold. freezer was ok but really working apparently the device to keep it cold was not working correctly was faulty so it was repaired now its working fine but now i worry it will break again.

I really wanted a fridge with handles, and I wanted one simple enough to work on myself, plus fewer things to go wrong. The deep doors are great! It seems to keep temps in a tighter range than my old one with electronic controls. Plus I'd swear it runs less. However it is a bit louder than my old Whirlpool, but not bad. One problem was the first thing I did was remove the back plate to inspect, and the refrigerant tube going up into the box was out quite a bit. It even made the plate bulge. I didn't want any galvanic action between the copper and steel so I had to cut a slot in the plate for the tube to stick out of. Plus it was a very messy braze job on the tube.

Overall I am pleased with the purchase. This was a special order item from Lowes and had to wait almost a month to get it from the time I ordered it. Directions for setup could be a little more clear. The biggest issue we had was with delivery and Lowes itself. Delivery driver showed up alone and said all he could do is put it in garage and not unpack it. Then later when we got it where it had to go, we found a couple large dents under the packing on the freezer door. Lowes was relatively unwilling to help with options to offer 5% discount or do replacement at another month out. Its a-shame that the reseller can affect the product but they are a representative of this brand.

We had a similar style (different brand) refrigerator that was probably at least a decade old. It was starting to fail so we replaced it. I was excited for an upgrade, but it's not earth shattering. Despite it having almost 4 more cubic feet, it doesn't feel that much more spacious in the refrigerator. I think most of the new space is in the freezer, because I feel like we have to bend down further to get into the refrigerator, and crouch if I want to see the top shelf. Motor is louder than I would like also.

Our old garage fridge went out and we replaced it with this garage ready model. Very nice for a garage fridge. Only complaint would be the reversing of the hinge side of the door. I™™ve done this quite a few times with various brands and this one was the toughest. Instructions weren™™t 100% clear and it felt a lot more complicated than others I™™ve done. But that™™s a one time inconvenience and everything else about the fridge is great. Glass shelves in the freezer is an upgrade over wire from the old one. Crisper drawers are on wheels which is nice.

This is an ok fridge for keeping drinks and a few frozen items in. We have it in the garage. Had to have a part replaced 8 months after purchase. Refrigerator stopped cooling. Thankfully it was covered under warranty. The freezer door opens when closing the fridge door so we keep it taped closed.

This is a really nice fridge. Very pleased with our purchase. Just have a couple of things that bother me a little. When you close the fridge door a little hard, the freezer door will open and close quickly. You have to be very gentle when opening and closing the doors. Also there is no covering over the wheel at the bottom on the right side of this (hinged) fridge. It looks a little awkward having a covering on one side and not the other. I am somewhat confused as to whether this fridge will require a regular filter change. I will need to call and find out. Love the look, size (lots of space on inside of fridge and on the side of the doors, and the great job that it does cooling!

We bought this refrigerator for the basement as extra freezer and chiller space for the bigger pool parties we are hosting this summer and it has made all the difference.Product arrived with all the moving and delicate parts taped up and secure. All we did was plug it in and it has performed just as desired. Plenty of drink storage on the door and plenty of space for casseroles and a watermelon in the main compartments. We and our guests have been accessing it as needed and it is holding up well. The doors close easily and completely so our fear of defrosting has been a non-issue. Thanks for helping us be good hosts.

The refrigerator that this model replaced had extra features. I needed a refrigerator immediately since mine has stopped working. There is a very limited selection of top freezer models, and they seem to be "low end". Not very household needs a super-size unit or has the space for one. That does not mean that there isn't interest in the extras in a smaller unit.In addition, I am appalled that the life expectancy of the unit is less than 10 years. I live in my childhood home. Over 75 years this will be the 4th refrigerator. In the past the average life of the units was 25 yrs.

we were looking for an inexpensive fridge just for the shop. This worked for price and size, but quality is less to be desired. The handles rub together when you open them both at the same time. putting it together was not easy, the screw holes require you to use a drill but than chance them getting stripped. over all its not a bad fridge but with concern.
