This unit replaces an 18 year old model that is still working although the icemaker makes a noise that we suspect means it might not be long before repairs are necessary. Although the units are the same size, it seems like this model has more space within the freezer and refrigerator. I do miss the two lever ice dispenser though with the need to push a button to switch from ice to water. Also the ice cubes are smaller, tend to be somewhat crushed with pieces ending up on the floor.

Since DAY-ONE this Frigidaire refrigerator (Model GRSS1652AF3) has been a total disappointment. First, NO product, today should be made to make such noises! It's well known by Frigidaire that their product makes many noises. PROOF: On page 22 of the Frigidaire Refrigerator use & care manual, Frigidaire actually dedicated an entire page on the noises that this product makes.This product has a poor history of its ice-maker failing to do what is is presumably supposed to do, that is make ice! Back to the noise...if it weren't for all the noises that this refrigerator makes throughout the day, we would not have noticed that after a day of peace and quite, we had no ice in the ice tray. The ice maker failed! Well, I suppose that the golden silence was our reminder that something with the refrigerator was wrong! Once we found that the ice-maker was not working, we turned to that "use & care" manual all to be made to realize that Frigidaire will only tell the consumer how to turn ON and OFF the ice maker. I then turned to the internet, all to learn that many many many other consumers complain about the same thing that we are now facing! Frigidaire needs to pay attention to its customer-base. IF their products have an issue...any issue, they need to immediately have a fix that will NOT cost the consumer any money to fix their product!!! It is very sad that major appliance companies such as Frigidaire will happily take a customers money and when that product fails, the only recourse is that the consumer must once again fork-out more money to have a product that works according to its advertised expectations. And while I'm on the topic of forking out more money to Frigidaire, this company has the arrogance to charge so much for their water filters, a single six month replacement filter goes for $54.49 to $43.60 (with a 20% discount)! And that's ONLY the water filter, for a six month use!!! How arrogant!!! I suppose that this is today's new way of treating its customers with thanks for choosing their products!!!It is so sad that today's tech savvy world can produce dud products and then turn around and force its customers to pay even more money in the years to come!!! My Frigidaire experience has been a very disappointing journey!Sadly, it is my belief that what I post will go on deft ears at Frigidaire! I challenge a response. Show that what I report is taken with great concern and customer satisfaction!

Good fridge with lots of room. I like the ice and water in the door. The handles are not fingerprint resistant but the fridge looks good.

Still getting use to it, but so far so good. Love that I can see the temperature of the fridge and freezer on the freezer door panel, by just pressing a 'button'. The textured color gray on the sides of the fridge is very pretty. I like that, alot.

I absolutely LOVE this refrigerator! So much space, and so well designed, I have it loaded snd still can locate snd access everything easily. It checked all the boxes for what I wanted in a refrigerator and then some.I am so glad I chose this model

It does the job and we are very happy with our purchase. We even like the little ice cubes that it makes! So far it's been quite nice. We may try to order another shelf for the door though, there's room for another so why not?

We have been in love with our new fridge. We haven't had a working ice maker in 6 years and that's what we run for. This fridge is much bigger than our last. But im happy for it because I cook a lot and now have plenty of room. All of our guest say I did a great job upgrading. 8

When the compressor went out on our old fridge for the second time, we knew we needed a new one. I did some shopping and found this bad boy. I am in love. The lights are bright so you can see everything inside, it keeps the temp perfect and the ice maker can actually keep up with the amount of ice we apparently go through. I have seriously just stood and admired this fridge since we got it. I absolutely love the storage space too (there are 3 drawers in the fridge!). This side by side is seriously incredible and I highly recommend it!

We are liking the frig very much. We like that the water filter is inside the frig and is easy to get to. The freezer side space is a little bit smaller than we had but it is fine for our needs. It is a nice simple design.

To be fair, we are not using the appliance yet™¦ we are building and have the fridge stored until the kitchen is ready. However, I can say that I had a gallery fridge in my last home and I was sad to leave it behind I loved it so much! Can™™t wait to get it in my brand new kitchen!

The refrigerator has only been in service for a week but so far so good. I was surprised it did not come with an egg holder or compartment and the water dispenser does not have a drip tray. This is the second unit since the first one came damaged from the manufacturer with the back TIN panel in the freezer at the bottom being dented up and bent. I couldn't see it until I took the bottom bins out to remove packaging (which Lowes delivery guys should have done). I also would like to see a light in the back of the refrigerator section at the top instead of just in the front of the compartment. What I love about it is the size and shape of the ice cubes and the capacity to make nearly 10lbs of ice! The water dispenser fills fast too. So far it is quiet compared to my old model even with the variable speed compressor running constantly. The only other issue I see are the plastic half-moon shaped shelving brackets on the rear of each shelf. If I need to adjust those when they are cold, they will snap right off when lifting up. That is a bad design. Looking forward to see how this unit holds up over time. For the money, this fridge gives you bang for your buck.

We were forced to get another fridge since last one only lasted 10 years. I old fridge was not a fridgidaire. My daughter helped to select this side by side model. I love all the lights and engineering thought that went into this model. We are very happy and love this one more than the old brand that was taken away!!

I bought the Frigidaire from Lowe's and had them install and deliver.I was a little worried about it fitting in the confined area but it fit perfectly I like the see through shelves in the door better than the white ones in my old refrigerator. It is working fine thus far and hope it stays that way.

We have purchased this refrigerator multiple times for rental properties. It has proven to be a good solid purchase. Many of the other brands have a door at the bottom of the frig that you have to push to open to replace the water filter and those doors constantly break requiring service calls. This frig has the water filter inside and it is an easy push to replace which doesn't break after a few changes. The frig gives the kitchens in our properties a top notch look and function. The deli drawer is an added feature which is highly appreciated by tenants. You simply can't go wrong with this frig.

Terrible fridge. I™™m on my second replacement and they still can™™t deliver me a fridge that works. The first one had a damaged touch screen, the second had a damaged seal the created condensation and forced my refrigerator section to freeze my food, and the third now shows a huge gap in the freezer seal. You can see into the freezer and feel the cool air. 3 fridges in 1 month, and not a single one works as a refrigerator should. My advice is to avoid and don™™t get stuck in this loop that I™™m in now.
