Still without a dishwasher a month later with no resolve. I would recommend not buying a GE product of any kind since they don™™t stand by it. Extremely dissatisfied

Best dishwasher we have had so far. Contrary to some of the reviews I saw, the drying option has left my dishes completely dry, no need to open door and hang towel in as others have suggested. Dishes come out clean and odor free, especially the drinking glasses. Low noise level, and overall ease of operation. My only complaint would be, the bottom rack does not slide in and out smoothly but that in itself is manageable.

This is my 2nd unit. I bought the first one May 30, and after some repair issue with the control panel, GE opted to send me a new unit and not continue to repair it. This unit is working great! I love how quiet it is. I do wish the drawers rolled out a little smoother, but that is not an issue for me.

The inside of the washer works great. No problems there. The outside black would be nice if it could be fingerprint resistant. The handle panel flexes into the front and feels cheap. It arrived with one side pushed in and we are awaiting a replacement. I haven™™t found a way to silence the notify chimes.

WILL NEVER BUY A GE PRODUCT AGAIN! Dishwasher broke within the first month and GE refuses to replace it. GE keeps sending out a third party company to ™fix™ the dishwasher, but after 2 months of replacing multiple different parts the dishwasher still DOES NOT WORK! This third party company has been out 3 separate times to replace multiple different parts and GE wants them to come out a fourth time to replace the SAME PARTS they have already replaced! This third party company has broken my countertop TWICE now. I have two separate chips in my counter from 2 separate people!! The dishwasher has now not worked longer than it has worked!

Replaced a 20 year old unit with this one , and my old unit worked beatifully.. Only replacec cause I had a sale for buying two GE appliances so I added this dishwasher.. Even if I prewash the dishes, I do not know it they will get clean in one cycle.. sometimes its three or four.. I have tried everything.. but this unit is not worth what I spent on it.. I wish there were a way to return, but I cant.finally , at wits end I have scheduled someone to come look at it.. I should have returned it . but I didnt.. I dont like to give a 1 rating, and thats the only reason this got a 2. p.s.- you have to run the hot water in the sink prior to starting this unit... if you dont, they definitely are not getting clean. Only had a few weeks. Dishwasher cleans well and has quiet operation. The quiet cleaning is the high point of the product. I am not a fan of how the racks are designed or which way the prongs lean. Seem to be continually trying to figure out how to fit standard items in the racks. However dishes some out clean which is the entire purpose of the product.

Our only complaint is the lack of instructions beyond the most basic. We were locked into a 4 hour cycle for days before we finally found the magic combination of buttons to push together to unlock the ™child safety™ lock! Suggestions on how to use the racks effectively would be most helpful as well. We are seeing that we cannot load as much into this dishwasher as we did in our old one.

The control panel was changed out three times in the first 8 months of ownership. I was told the third time, when I requested a new washer, if it failed four times in the first year then they would replace it. Four months later it failed again and now am told they have to replace it four times before they will replace it so they opened a service ticket and now waiting for the fourth control panel replacement, each time we are handwashing dishes for a couple of weeks while they dispatch someone to verify the control panel is bad and who then has to order the part that I told them was the issue when I called. What you are told depends on who you talk to and I would not trust anything that is said. We have now had nine service calls in the first 11 months, GE is not reputable based off my interactions.

Second time I used the dishwasher it leaked water all over my kitchen floor. Water was leaking from bottom of front loader door. Customer support told me it will be 8 days before a technician can look at the problem. From my own inspection I can see the bottom door seal was not installed properly. Can™™t say much good about GE quality control.

I am very happy with my new dishwasher. It takes awhile to adjust to a new one but now that I have, I do appreciate it. It has a very large capacity and different cycles to choose from. Because it is energy efficient, it does take a long time to complete the normal cycle. But the dishes come out clean and dry. It is very quiet compared to my old one and other new ones I have been around in other homes. I like the third shelf.

I love the features this dishwasher has. The spray nozzles to put bottles or cups over, the sprayer under the silverware holder, the flat top shelf that I use way more than I expected. I like that the light changes from orange when running to white when done. The fun little tune it plays when complete is fun. If you're not around to hear it, don't worry, the light will let you know its finished. My boyfriend installed it himself. Don't tell him I told you but he's not so good with that kind of stuff and was able to do it himself.

The top rack sure seems like a good idea, but things need to be pre-cleaned prior to going in the top. That area does not clean well. The dry-boost needs to stay on high but it does dry well when in use. Install was pretty seamless, nothing complicated. Extremely quiet during use. Took a bit to get used to not pushing buttons on top when opening and closing the door. Adjustable center rack height is helpful. I do wish spacing on center rack posts was different. Putting Tupperware in slides around due to post distances and angle of the base of the center rack.

We™™ve had our dishwasher for about 6 months. When comparing it to the 23 year old GE dishwasher it replaced, the positive thing I can say about it is that it is significantly quieter. Unfortunately, it doesn™™t clean as well as it™™s predecessor. Even when cleaning on the heavy cycle, I have to consistently rewash items, especially silverware. Additionally, any taller items in the bottom rack will cause the spray arm to be blocked and not rotate. This results in a lousy cleaning result. The lack of clearance on the bottom rack is caused by the addition of a third rack on top. This top rack is useless due to its tiny height and items that do fit on it do not come out clean. My final complaint is that even when using the rinse aid dispenser, the dishes remain soaking wet for hours after a cycle. Considering the cost of this dishwasher, I cannot recommend it.

This morning we had this dishwasher installed. The original purchase on May 9, 2025 was a 'total' disappointment. A part was required to complete the installation and for whatever reason, it was never ordered, delivered or installed. The company we originally ordered the dishwasher from, wanted to make us happy, so they had this dishwasher installed. Dishwasher Doesn't Work

This dishwasher was delivered and installed on May 11, 2025. We have used it for 6 days when we started to have issues with it which brings it to May 17th. Upon multiple calls to support, we were able to finally get someone put to the house to check it out on June 3rd. The tech thought he had it figured out but we were not able to wash any dishes because the same issue came up. I called them on June 5th too order the parts. I called the service person again today June 10th and they have one part in and is awaiting for the second part. They discovered the part won't be available until June 18th. By the time they get the part, it will be the end of June before we can use the dishwasher. That is if it will work for more than a day. At this point, I am very disgusted with this dishwasher and service we have been getting from GE and I will never buy another GE product again. I feel that I can get a new dishwasher from another company before this one gets fixed. I would like to request a new dishwasher but I am sure it will be declined by you. The last dishwasher I had was a GE and lasted 8 years before any issues came up. That is why I purchased this one but all it has done is to let me down along with GE. Word of mouth is very powerful and so is Facebook. I only gave it one star because there is nothing lower.

We have the GE Model GDP670SGV1BB Dishwasher. So far we love it. It is quiet. I love the 3rd top rack and adjustable second (glass/cup) rack. I love that there are several bonus jets for glasses that may have a little "extra" something on the side. (Example, Magic Bullet container) and the extra spray under the silverware caddy.

Really like the capacity if the wash tub, and the easy adjustability of the middle rack. It makes me able to lower it for very tall tumblers and raise it for larger pans. The third rack is perfect for coffee cup lids and it is very quiet! My concerns are minimal: - the ability to change the wash cycles at the top of the door won't work if the panel is wet or if you have wet hands (which I often do when doing dishes) I have to stop what I'm doing and dry them in order to set the cycle and start. - The top of the door/ cycle selector can be bumped and changed when moving around the open dishwasher. The little beeps are irritations when you are not trying to set the unit for use. - when I open the door to pause the dishwasher for one more dish, I have to push START again. Why???? Shouldn't it be assumed that I want to restart a dishwasher that is already running? - There is a sound and light that come on when the cycle is done. Again, why sound? For a super quiet dishwasher to have an audible sound at the end of the cycle... well it just seems silly. Overall, it is a great and quiet dishwasher. I have had a few wet dishes after running it, but it's not a big deal. It's well worth the cost and I love how energy efficient it is. It was even easy to be installed. But, the few irritations make it less than perfect. I'm thrilled with my new washer, but think these things could be fixed!

I've had bad luck with dishwashers- until now! I had a top of the line model in the '90s that couldnt work right after the dishwashing soap changed. It was fast and powerful, but loud. Replaced that in succession with two very wimpy energy star rated models that were worse. They would seemingly mist water vapor on dirty dishes over 3-4 hours and still couldnt clean very well. Well with this GE, my 25 year search is over! This model is super quiet, and cleans! The silverware blasters are awesome. Bottle washers come in handy for big water bottles. Theres a top rack for those implements you never know what to do with. Theres a sanitization cycle that along with the bottle jets will add time to the complete cycle, but the end product of 100% clean and spot free sanitized dishes is well worth it. The sanitize cycle uses an internal heater to hold the temp at 130-140º to kill bacteria if I recall, so that's why it adds so much extra time. There is an option for a 1 hour simple cycle without the extra cycles. The decibel level is low enough that you can barely hear the thing running when it's on. The pirahna feature is a must have if you've ever had to clean out a clogged dw drain (ewww)! This's got some hi tech features that can bring up the water temp if your water isn't hot out of the tap, and it will adjust a cycle length by detecting the amount of debris in the water. I was also impressed with the top rack's cleaning after putting in a couple of spatulas from a mac & cheese dinner- got them shiny clean. Overall, 100% satisfied with this model!!!

Bad purchase

Home Depot sucks 3/21/2025

Parts were missing Home Depot installer refused to install due the time it would take. Did not want to spend more than 15 minutes. Said they had 5 more to deliver and install. Parts were not packed good missing parts some were missing some were in very bottom of tub found them using a flash light. Your company sucks and so does your product packaging.

I could not give zero so this is the best I could do. I bought this unit in November. It didn™™t get delivered till late. November at the store it was installed in January. I had other issues have been able to use it used it a few times the other day it leaked it wouldn™™t stop pouring water. It flooded the floor. I can™™t get a hold of GE because I have other GE appliances at a different address. This is a second home so at the end of the day I have no way to reach out to GE and get this problem resolved due to their automated system wants a default back to the information it has in the records. I also have that similar appliance and it™™s also having at another address, not having the leak issue, but the fan never cuts off on the dishwasher

Product cleans very well had to replace the original one purchased 3/24. The one thing you notice from last GE dishwasher is that the manufacturing quality is much flimsier than 15 years ago.

Love my new dishwasher. It looks great, ours is black which I love, it is quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes. No complaints here, love GE products I have a GE washing machine as well and we are very happy with it.
