The convection function does not seem to work correctly, AND I NOW HAVE BEEN WITHOUT AN OVEN FOR 1 MONTH! The BOARD BURNED OUT, and its back ordered! ONE MONTH NOW, a brand new oven, that hasent worked for a month??? And I bake a lot, but not for a month now.

GE Electric 30" range installation not good

Installers did not check the range storage drawer for proper operation. Range storage drawer was damaged and I had to telephone the help number for a replacement. Installers did not install a cable strain relief, which was required by the install documentation. Installers did not perform a smoke test for the oven heating elements or for the stove top burners.

The second stove/oven works as expected. It took lmost a month to get a replacement for a device that was damaged on delivery. GE and Home Depot thought it was our fault from our impression of the conversations. We had to improvise out meals for that time since both GE and Home Depot didn't move until a technician saw the damage.

Loved our GE range and oven that we bought over 21 years ago . When it was time to replace we bought another GE profile BUT sorely disappointed in the smooth top being offered only in white, also in the underneath storage drawer which is impossible to open. Also, the timer being incorporated into the temperature screen is confusing. Also, the feature showing which burner is still hot after being used is no longer available. The quality has definitely cheapened.

The manufacturing QA missed several key points. The stovetop bounces up and down with a little weight on it. The bottom drawer doesn™€™t close 100% because the sheet metal in the corners isn™€™t flush. The operation of the stove is good and as expected.

I was extremely disappointed when my range was installed to see that the adjustable feet were not long enough, so that the range is one half inch lower than my countertops are. The installers informed me that there were longer feet available that I could purchase. I immediately called the sales department of the store and spoke with the man that sold me the unit. He laughed at me and told me that my countertops were too high and that there was no such thing as longer legs, just place some shims under the feet. Also, the unit cannot be placed back flush to the wall, because of the receptacle getting in the way with some metal plating on the back of the unit. I had measured repeatedly before purchasing this item. I will never purchase another item from this store again

The burners heat the food quickly and efficiently. Easy to read controls. The stove surface is easy to clean. The oven heats up quickly, and I like the removable bottom tray for cleaning. The only changes I™€™d make would be how the bottom storage drawer pulls out and the back of the stove. The pullout drawer doesn™€™t leave much room for fingers to pull out the drawer, and instead of positioning fingers downward to pull it out, I think it would be easier to design it so fingertips would be positioned upward. The back of the stove is solid where our electric plug is which sticks out several inches, so we are unable to push the stove back close to the wall, thus it sticks out 2-3 inches beyond our counters. 🤨

We converted from gas to electric in the kitchen because of my asthma. I haven't had an electric stove in 20 years. This stove is awesome. So far, every feature works great, and the meals have come out perfect. It was a real challenge to find a stove that fit my 50+ year old kitchen that's a bit non-standard. The controls are intuitive, and I love the app. Oven space is excellent for cooking large meals or baking for special occasions. The lines are clean and modern, so it looks great. My kitchen is very small, which makes the storage drawer essential.

I haven't used the stove yet, but it came with no user manual and I can't find one online without paying for it. The only manual was from GE but just concerned installation. My question concerns the "Air Fryer" mode. A really bad YouTube said it needed a special tray, but none came with the range. Not sure what to do with all that.

Overall it's average. It was a good price on sale but I never would have paid full price for it. The biggest disappointment is the ceramic top stains easily and you have to really use special cleaners to make it look new. Also I don't like that it does not say which burner is still hot after you turn the oven off. It would be nice if that showed on the ceramic top itself designating which burner was still hot.

Two things I don't like about the stove - 1. the top! The only way to clean it is with special stove top cleaner, you cannot just use your dish rag that you are doing the dishes with. Have to apply the cleaner with a paper towel and then use another paper towel to buff it. EVERYTHING shows up on it - what happened to the white/black speckled top that didn't show anything. It is just my husband and I and there are already scratches on it even though we are very careful sliding the pans around on it. 2. I don't like the drawer on the bottom. The groove to put your fingers in is too narrow and short. It's a pain to get it to open. I do like the matte back part.

Our previous GE range with ceramic cooktop, purchased in 2014 would rate higher than our new GE. This new model #GRF600AVWW has things we wanted including the Warmer burner, which I love, self and steam cleaning, convection, air fry and a drawer for pan storage. Less than ideal: 1. The instructions say to use a ceramic cooktop cleaner before the 1st use. We used our daily ceramic spray cleaner but now have shiny spots that don't come off. We are using the "recommended" stainless pans. Why not throw in a small sample bottle of preferred cleaner with the purchase? 2. The top of the door and upper right corner get quite hot, a concern for children's hands. It's one of the reasons we bought new. Our old model did that too. 3. The oven light is inadequate. It's off to the left side and too low, so it's hard to see the top surface of items being cooked on the upper racks. 4. The bottom drawer is sturdier than some brands we looked at, but the gap and finger indentation are so close together, it's hard to get your fingers in there to pull the drawer open! 5. The pan drawer is also several inches smaller front to back than our previous model so it's like doing a jigsaw puzzle to get the pans in. We still had to put one lid elsewhere. 6. We haven't tried all the oven settings and will never use some, like the Wi-fi. Pizza no pre-heat has not worked successfully so far, and it seem like the burners take longer to heat up than our old range. So, all in all, adequate, but disappointing in our opinion.

Delay Bake does not always work!!!

Do not count on using the Delay Bake feature (which requires the GE app) with any consistency. It loses internet connection, and is nearly impossible to get reconnected unless you call for help. I am so disappointed to not have this feature readily available -- I had it on my previous stove and used it a lot. I don't know why they had to make it only available with an app, which makes it very "hit or miss" whether it will work. So frustrating!!!!!

For the most part I love the stove. It took a little getting used to having to push the start button to activate the heat and timer. One extra step but can easily get accustom. The one star off is because the timer is not loud enough. I had to purchase a timer so we can hear it. It cooks great the features air fry convection also works great.

Being able to lift it out and clean it separately makes routine maintenance dramatically easier and keeps the cooktop looking new with far less effort. I™€™ve been a homeowner for 35 years, and this is actually my first GE appliance. I was genuinely impressed not only with the range itself, but also with GE™€™s support infrastructure. Registering the product on their website was straightforward and quick, and downloading the user manual was effortless ™€" something that hasn™€™t always been my experience with other brands. Installing and setting up the mobile app was also simple and intuitive. There are a couple of areas where I think GE could improve. The timer alarm has only two modes: a single beep or a continuous, never-ending beep. It would be much more practical to have a third option ™€" for example, a repeating beep that lasts about one minute and then stops. My main complaint concerns the hot surface indicator. The control panel shows a general ™€œHot Surface™€ warning, but it does not indicate which specific burner is still hot. In a small kitchen like mine, I often use the cooktop surface as additional temporary counter space. Individual indicator lights at each burner control would make it much easier to know exactly which areas are still too hot to use. Interestingly, my 30-year-old Amana range had burner-specific indicators, so this feels like a step backward in usability. Overall, however, this has been a very positive experience. For me, GE has been a genuine discovery, and based on this range, I would definitely consider their other appliances in the future. ---

I do love my new stove...one comment...the drawer on the bottom of the stove is very difficult to open with arthritic fingers! Placing the grips on the side of the drawer would be most helpful to us 'mature' folks! Thank you!

I had trouble leveling. I had to use shims. According to the inter et it has been a common problem with ge. I would think that this issue would be fixed when manufactured.

I love my new range. It cooks and bakes great. The top is easy to clean. My only issue is I should be able to connect to my Google home device but cannot get it to connect. I have tried all the suggestions and no luck. It does connect to the app though which is great.

The unit has a fast preheat and actually shows the temperature rising to the desired temperature set. Appears to have very accurate oven temperature and more even internal heating that just cooked a standing rib roast exactly on time as the chart showed. The stove top controls are decent. The stove glass top should be cleaned off ASAP after using send it already had a small stain. That was hard to buff out. We have not used the air fryer yet, but is a nice feature to have available. Not going to use the available Wi-Fi.

Replacing a similar 21 year-old range.

This new convection range is priced well for the extras that it has, including the air fry and convection modes. The bake option seems a little cool requiring additional time probably because the heating element is under the steamer pan. The controls for this oven work well however the safety light indicating the top is hot is marginally adequate I would™€™ve liked to see a larger indication light as we have already Not seen the light on with a hot element because it blends into the busy display. I am overall happy with the purchase for it™€™s functionality. I hope the electronics and heating elements last 21 years, as or longer than the previous unit this is replacing.

I was looking for something affordable, feature-packed, and reliable without breaking into premium price territory. This model, often priced under $1,000, fits the bill perfectly. It has simple design, but has Air Fry, Convection and Easy Wash tray. Good value for the money.

I™€™m disappointed with the controls. The control panel is confusing at times. My old Kenmore stove was much easier to use. Also the warming burner is more than what I would call warm. Things come to a simmer if left on it. There is no way to control its temperature. Once again my old Kenmore blew this GE out of the water. It had a low/high setting on the warmer. Definitely my least favorite stove I™€™ve owned in my 40+ years as a wife/mother.

Glass top

I guess this is more of a budget stove I bought to replace destroyed appliances from Helene. Never had a glass top before. Never will again. The steps necessary to clean grease splatter is exhausting. I have even started using an elec fry pan to avoid splattering my stove. 2 nicks have mysteriously appeared. I say mysteriously because I am very careful not to drag or drop on this stove top. If I had an extra many hundreds of dollars I would get another stove. This one works fine but the glass top is a monster to clean. I mean 3 vital steps. Every time! Just wanted to let you, the manufacturer, know about the problems. Maybe next generation of this stove will find a way to make the Glass top more user friendly. My goal after every use is to bring it back to its mirror finish so can™€™t blame sloppy cleaning techniques.
