Worth the investment.

I was very skeptical about speed ovens, in general, and not sure whether they were worth the cost. After a few months, I'm a convert. It cooks salmon perfectly using the speed cooking settings provided by the device. I cooked two pork tenderloins that also were cooked perfectly. It is a very high quality product which will hopefully last many years.

GE told us this model had air fry. They lied.

We bought a GE Advantium built in oven, model PSB9240SV1SS. Before making this $3,149 purchase, we called customer service to discuss its features and we wanted to know if it included an air fryer mode. The GE agent confirmed that we could easily download this feature on this model after we set up the WiFi connection and downloaded the SmartHQ app. This unit is smaller than the unit it replaced so we had to hire carpentry work to be done as part of the installation. As we set up the WiFi connection and app, we couldn™€™t find how to download the air fryer feature. We called customer service and at first they couldn™€™t understand the problem. Eventually they found out that this model doesn™€™t support this feature. GE didn™€™t offer to correct the issue with a refund, replacement, or financial adjustment. All they offered was a $200 credit towards buying on of THEIR counter top air fryers!! Another sale for them, another appliance we don™€™t have space for, and no care at all of the expense to us for a substandard product that they sold us.

Houseful multi purpose microwave. I had one before that was twice as much and disliked it a lot. This one make cooking so easy and has a plethora of added features to use but do not get in your way. Stays very clean.

Great except for one annoying feature

This oven compares favorably to the 20 year old one it replaced except for one annoying feature. When you are done and take the food out you have to remember to hit the screen to say you are done. Otherwise you get this annoying musical alarm and you have to make a special trip back to turn it off.

This oven/microwave combo is the BOMB! This oven does it all. It will speed cook 2 baked potatoes, with crispy skin in 20 minutes. Overall, this appliance is the heart of a kitchen. I use it everyday in one way or the other. It looks great installed over my standard type oven. Excellent appliance.

Faulty Appliance. Fire Hazard

With this oven being less than a year old and installed only four months ago, it caught fire and melted the door. If we had have engaged the oven remotely, it would™€™ve burned our house down. I highly recommend not purchasing this oven. Since I am a professional builder, I will not be installing this oven and any of my custom homes. They refused to replace the oven and only wanted to repair it, which is totally unacceptable. If you look, there are reviews on the Internet with the same issue. I would not recommend this oven to anybody in fact I would tell them to be aware that it could be a fire hazard.

Same great Advantium features

This product was a replacement for an Adventium oven we have had for 18 plus years. Controls are touchscreen now instead of a dial, but basically the settings as before. The old one was still working, but we were refreshing the kitchen, and decided to replace all the appliances. I love the new one, but had to modify the cabinet due to a difference in size.

I love the versatility of the Profile Advantium, the settings for fresh pizza works well and potatoes are perfect. I bought my first, a GE Monogram Advantium in 2003 and it performed very well. Love this upgrade. So easy to use. I appreciate I can use the smaller trays from my old Advantium and have new larger ones.

New unit installed today. Not working right out of the box. No display. Called customer survice number in the users manual. Best. Appointment nex Tuesday Dec 2. I™€™m sure next there will be a wait for parts and then a wait to install. Will it be working for the holidays? Happy holidays from GE. Best oven I ever owned, this is my 2nd Advantium & both of my adult children have it too. So many different functions, the oven guides you thru cook times & is so user friendly. Have used it as a basic microwave, plus baking cookies & pies & bars, toasting garlic bread, grilling steak, cooking halibut filets & crab cakes! The speed cook function saves so much time without heating up the entire kitchen.

The new model was bigger than the old model & did not fit into our built in cabinet. We had to put it in the pantry which was very frustrating. I don't understand why they made it bigger. I do not like that it defaults to the microwaving screen since I mostly use it for the speed cooking. It is hard to find settings for certain things. I don't like the constant beeping when I take something out until I hit Cancel. I like the old model better.

Wow! This microwave does everything except give you a back massage! I have never seen so many options on a product! I can just scan the barcode on food and this microwave automatically knows how to cook it! I can check on food's doneness by looking at it with the app on my phone and never even have to get up! What a great world we live in!

Don't buy anything GE. New oven in July, 2024. It had incorrect temperature since install unbeknownst to me until baking in December wasn't going so well. I waited weeks for service technician. Service technician comes and has to order parts. 2 weeks or so for parts. Another 2 weeks for technician to come. Just advised I was cancelled for the technician for another week. I don't see this getting any better any time too soon. Ergo, if you need to cook, don't buy GE

This is such a beautiful power oven microwave combo. I can™€™t believe it does both. I feel so modern and it elevates my kitchen. There™€™s so many options. I™€™ve never seen a soften/melt feature in a microwave, nor a ™€œsteam cook button.™€ What a lovely gift to myself and my home. I feel like having this will inadvertently cause me to cook more and make healthier meals. The touch screen with color is just gorgeous. It hooks up to WiFi. I™€™m going to have an interesting time reading and studying the manual. It™€™s very sophisticated! I feel like I™€™m setting up a computer when they give me options to even choose a real-life background photo. I feel fancy!

I have had my Advantaium since 2004 and love it. I show it off to people and have had friends purchase one because of my show and tell and enthusiasm. But now a part is broken and repair man says it's discontinued. It's part of the timing and set up at top of unit. Please help us get parts we need.
